A Shared Storefront for Research & Innovation.
↳ Challenge
R&I carried out valuable work that was not easily visible or accessible across the wider ecosystem of business units, partners, and academia. The goal was to close the knowledge gap, increase visibility, and use the storefront as both an engine for insight and a driver of stronger relationships.
Working iteratively towards this ambition, we developed the project in three key stages: Showroom, Experience, and Open Lab - delivering an MVP as the first milestone. The process included hypothesis development, stakeholder interviews, and learning workshops to define priorities. Progress was shared through bi-weekly demo sessions, and features were prioritized using a simple impact–complexity matrix. Through hypothesis-driven exploration, rapid prototyping, and concept testing, we refined the MVP and roadmap based on continuous evaluations. A forward-looking plan, including an AI factory and benchmark data, was also established to support co-creation in the next phase.
↳ Approach
↳ Result
The first version (MVP) was launched as a public-facing showroom, an open, product-oriented way to present initiatives and capabilities. The platform has increased visibility and generated stronger pull from the surrounding ecosystem, allowing stakeholders to more easily discover, understand, and engage with specific initiatives. It also established a structure for continuous learning; bi-weekly demo sessions and a clear prioritization framework now make it possible to strengthen content and functionality step by step. With the MVP in place, R&I has a clear direction for further development, moving from Experience to Open Lab, where active collaboration and co-creation will drive the next phase of innovation.
