↳ Challenge
As part of the government’s ambition to increase exports by 50% outside oil and gas by 2030, the Norwegian government launched the export reform “Hele Norge eksporterer”. One of the key initiatives requested by industry through the reform was the creation of a new national origin mark for products and solutions made in Norway. tba_ was engaged by Innovation Norway to contribute to the development and pilot phase of this new Norwegian origin mark.
The solution design is the result of an extensive insight process, involving strong participation from both industry and expert communities. To ensure learning and knowledge transfer, we maintained an ongoing dialogue with origin mark organizations in other countries. A conceptual prototype of the Norwegian origin mark was initially tested with 250 Norwegian companies, collecting direct feedback on design, criteria, and pricing model. This led to several adjustments to maximize value for the business sector. Neue Design Studio was responsible for the visual design of the mark itself.
