Foodlab stands out as one of Norway’s leading catering providers, having experienced steady growth in recent years thanks to word-of-mouth driven by outstanding deliveries and high customer satisfaction. tba_ was brought in to ensure continued growth within existing segments and to explore new market opportunities.
To map both existing strengths and potential challenges, we conducted internal interviews with employees as well as external interviews with current, former, and potential customers. In addition, a comprehensive market and trend analysis was carried out, along with detailed evaluations of competing offerings to identify opportunities for differentiation. Based on these insights, we developed a report containing recommendations for strategic direction and actionable measures going forward.

From the insights, we identified a new growth opportunity within the office lunch segment. The brand was refined based on these findings, with a clearer positioning, value proposition, and identity aligned with the new focus area. This formed the foundation for a new visual identity, communication strategy, and digital platform featuring an optimized customer journey through a simplified interface, clearly articulated value proposition, and an automated ordering system.
